…stays in Mexico!
Just kidding! That wouldn’t be a very fun blog to read. This week has flown by. We spent Tuesday and Thursday visiting different colonias praying about where God wants us to minister. There are four different colonias and we will be choosing which one we’d like to work in. After we decide, the thirteen of us will split up between the four neighborhoods and minister there twice a week. I’m still not exactly sure what that will look like yet.
I spent Wednesday and Friday at Esther’s House hanging out with the kids. It was really fun, but it takes tons of energy. I’m working on getting different craft and game ideas together for the kids. These kids are beautiful. I’m already starting to fall in love with them.
Please continue praying for me and the group – specifically for wisdom and direction in deciding which colonia to work in. Also, pray for me to increase my knowledge of Spanish to be able to communicate effectively and clearly. And finally, pray for my internship at Esther’s. It requires lots of energy, and I want to do as many fun activities as possible with the kids.
